H.R. 4280 was introduced in Congress this month. It is a bill designed to update the archaic income and asset limitations for recipients of Supplemental Security Income. These rules haven’t been properly updated since 1972. It would move the asset limitation from $2000 to $10,000 and eliminate deductions for in kind support. We think this will be an excellent means of improving the lives of individuals living with disabilities. Read more about it here.
